چکیده

An experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2022-2023 to evaluate the cost benefit ratio by using different insecticidal applications viz., Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC (0.5ml/l), Spinosad 45 (0.4ml/l), Nisco sixer plus (2ml/l), Bacillus thuringiensis 4% WSP (2gm/l), Beauveria bassiana 1.15% WP (5gm/l), Neem oil @2% (5ml/l), ½ dose + (2.25ml/l) and Control plot against gram pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) on green with three replications. Results revealed that highest grain yield recorded in (T1) (15.6 q/ha) followed (T2) (14.8 q/ha), (T7) Half (13.8 q/ha). Insecticidal treatment (1:2.87), (1:2.79), (1:2.45), (1:2.36), (1:2.30), (1:2.00) (1:1.83) are found be least effective but comparatively superior over control (1:1.51). End it reported is best for management borer.

Expression of a Chimeric Gene Encoding Insecticidal Crystal Protein Cry1Aabc of Bacillus thuringiensis in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) Confers Resistance to Gram Pod Borer (Helicoverpa armigera Hubner.)

Domain swapping and generation of chimeric insecticidal crystal protein is an emerging area of insect pest management. The lepidopteran insect pest, gram pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera H.) wreaks havoc to chickpea crop affecting production. Lepidopteran insects were reported to be controlled by Bt (cryI) genes. We designed a plant codon optimized chimeric Bt gene (cry1Aabc) using three domains...

Efficacy of Some Synthetic and Biopesticides Against Pod Borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) in Chickpea

Efficacy of some synthetic and biopesticides against pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) damage in chickpea was studied at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Ishurdi, Pabna, Bangladesh during rabi cropping season of 2004-05. Synthetic and biopesticides reduced pod borer damage significantly. Significantly lowest pod damage was observed in cypermethrin (5.75%) and HNPV (5.86%) spra...
